About learning about Web 2, what I like the most is the hands-on experience on using web resources. Without fellow students and the help of our instructor, I would be lost in this multitude of websites. I would not know how to classify them and make use of them either.
As an English teacher, I find that the zoho website is best for me because I can use it to teach English writing. And my students can use edit a piece of writing among themselves.
Other web 2 technologies like del.ici.us, facebook, eduspace, teachertube, podcast..etc are good and provide a lot of potential for teaching and learning. It makes learning more enjoyable too.
I found that using blogs is a good way to organize our portfolio and each learning steps.

Web 2.0
http://www.go2web20.net/

I am most delighted to experience an array of Web 2.0 open wares which eable us to shortlist among them applicable and practicable in school-based operation in particular in our school library's homepage. I shall not be too ambitous from the start for owing to scarcity of time after close examination of each ware I wish to apply a few of them and to make the most possible benefits out of them. I am particularly interested in the application of the following wares, namely:

★ Blogger (School Library Homepage Blog);
★ SlideShare;
★ del.icio.us;
★ flickr (almost certainly the best online photo management and sharing application
in the world. ..);
★ YouTube + TeacherTube (provide an online community for sharing instructional
teacher videos, etc.);
★ zoho work online;
★ Google Docs and Spreadsheets;
★ myspace.com;
★ RSS Feeds;
★ podcast.net;
★ Mashups;
★ GO2WEB20 (a comprehensive index of logos of the latest web 2.0 applications
and services; a website which is worth visit and re-visits from time to time to
acquire more information of Web 2.0 development).

In terms of application, I will let students develop Web 2.0 literacy side by side with the staging of utilization of more Web 2.0 open wares and techniques. I will always share the users' experience with peer school teacher-librarians in the existing Diploma Course and hence a local Web 2.0 community can be fostered.

Through the platform with Web 2.0 applications, we could share our idea on our own content and generate the information ourselves. Therefore the information could be enriched and updated from every website visitors. It would be more interactive for the website visitors and provide a learning platform for idea creation.

From this course, I know how to present and share the experience and information to others through internet. It is simple for me to introduce the useful website to teachers and students such as the mindmeister and zoho writer. The mindmeister can help learner to think and organize the information clearly. Also, it can link between website and the learner so that it is easy to find the information. Zoho writer is informative for learner to share his own idea and information with others. It is simple for learner to discuss and modify the information on the net at the same time. Also, I would like to try the application of blogs because it is simple and user friendly to update, organize and share our portfolio step by step.

At first glance, blog is so funny and I think it is difficult to do. But creating a personal blog is fun. When I see my own blog, I feel a sense of ownership and achievement as long as my blog remains functional.

The integration of different web 2.0 tools into the blog allows for educational purposes. The whole blog can centre around a main theme. Here are some tools that I like most.
Youtube and TeacherTube are useful whenever teachers want to incorporate certain videos related to the curriculum into their teaching activities.
The Slideshare helps teachers to distribute the Powerpoint online through the web and students take pride in presenting their Powerpoint materials via the web by Slideshare.
The Mindmeister helps to create mind maps so that students can construct knowledge together in an interactive online environment. Students learn in a collaborative way so that the zone of proximal development can be extended in an interactive learning environment.
Delicious helps collect web links useful for students and teachers to share information and web pages by forming a community of practice. It is fun to decide bookmarks of my own. It is informative to allow students to check others' bookmarks to facilitate smooth transmission of information throught the web.
The Zoho Writer is useful whenever students want to edit passages together. It seems particularly useful in English writing so that students can construct knowledge by writing articles in groups.
The RSS feeds keep me informed and updated of latest events. We don't need to go the website to check whether certain websites are updated or not, which is very convenient.
Podcasts allow me to present my voice over the internet. I yearn to incorporate all these into my teaching practices.
In short, I like using blog and web 2.0 tools to organize my portfolio since their potentials for education are high. I think the blog is presentable and beautiful, which elates and excites me. Students like to learn via creation of blogs too. Many teaching and learning materials can be delivered to students via blogs so as to make a learning curriculum beyond textbook-based level. The blog makes promotion of new books and gathering of feedback from students possible. With the implementation of liberal studies as a new subject in the new senior secondary curriculum, webtool 2.o technology can surely enable students to share information and construct knowledge together so that the culture of "learning to learn" can be fostered and cultivated.
